Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes Submits Her Resignation, Saying “I Have Served The Purpose I Came Here For”

This comes a day after Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum offered his (second) concession to Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).

At a press conference, Snipes brazenly said, “I think I have served the purpose that I came here for, which was to provide a credible election product for our voters.”

Broward County, FL, where Snipes served as the elections supervisor for more than a decade, was labeled as “Florida’s biggest Democratic stronghold” by the Washington Post.

Snipes admitted last week she has been a Democrat all her life.
