An “anti-right wing rapid response network” funded by NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) has reportedly been hacked. A leaked document shows 30 countries have assembled teams to combat right-wing media, going as far as using various social media propaganda/monitoring units to do their work. The project received $1.5 million in funding last year. This operation seems to follow the now-familiar pattern of disguising their motivations under a false “Russia is doing this” narrative. All related activity is geared towards suppressing conservative free speech. According to the leaked data, multiple organizations are monitoring various websites in order to rapidly feed information to their journalists who then go on to write counter stories. (Source) NATO gets most of its funding from the United States. Per CNBC: “In 2017, the U.S. accounted for 51.1 percent of NATO”s combined GDP and 71.7 percent of its combined defense expenditure. In short, the U.S. contributed more funds to NATO than Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and Canada combined.” Read the leaked NATO document below: Click here to see it Main Image Credit: aktuality.sk 48 views
