A 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit about eight miles north of Anchorage, Alaska on Friday. The quake prompted local authorities to declare a tsunami warning, which was later canceled. Some videos posted on social media show cracked roads, grocery store items being knocked off shelves and building fires, but one in particular showed a student taking cover underneath a chair. Although any cover is better than none, there are multiple tables seen nearby. Wouldn”t it have been wiser to use one of those for protection?
