During a U.S. Senate ceremonial swearing-in event in 2015, Vice President Joe Biden was seen standing with Senator Christopher Coons (D-DE) and his family, including his daughter Maggie Coons.
During the ceremony, Biden leaned in and whispered into Maggie’s ear and then kissed her on the head.
According to a Fox News Sunday interview, Coons’ daughter apparently didn’t think Biden’s advances were “creepy.” The host, Chris Wallace, asked Coons about the incident:
“I have to ask, ’cause a lot of people have been speculating about it, does she think the vice president is creepy?” Wallace asked.
“No, Chris,” Coons laughed. “She doesn’t think the vice president is creepy.”
Coons said Biden was supposedly “offering reassurance to his daughter” and has known his children their whole lives.
“I could hear him,” he said. “He was leaning forward and whispering some encouragement to her about how when he was sworn in his own daughter Ashley was 13 and she felt awkward and uncomfortable.”
Contrary to these statements, a 2016 video on YouTube that has received almost 200,000 views allegedly caught hot mic audio of Biden’s awkward interaction with Maggie. Biden allegedly said sexually suggestive things to the teenage girl.
The video’s comments have been disabled and we are unable to verify if the audio itself is authentic.
If it is, this might explain Maggie’s reaction (flinching away from the vice president).

So, what do you think? Is the audio real?
Another video, titled ‘Creepy Uncle Joe’ and posted on YouTube by Paul Joseph Watson in 2017, provides a pretty good exposé of Biden’s unusual behavior towards children throughout the years:
