Former Vice President Joe Biden attended an American Federation of Teachers (AFT) town hall in Houston, Texas on Tuesday where he was seen touching a young girl and whispering into her ear.
In April, the 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful posted a video on Twitter where he promised to be “more mindful about respecting personal space”:
“Social norms are changing. I understand that, and I’ve heard what these women are saying. Politics to me has always been about making connections, but I will be more mindful about respecting personal space in the future. That’s my responsibility and I will meet it.”

The event, which was livestreamed on AFT’s official Facebook page, has received over 50,000 views:
So far, two photos have emerged from either before or after Biden’s speech showing him getting uncomfortably close to a little girl (click to enlarge):
As you can see, the former VP performed his signature move of placing his hands on the girl’s shoulders and leaning in to either whisper in her ear or sniff her hair.
It is unknown at this time if he exhibited similar behavior towards any other attendees.
